Idea

What?

​

• Create the first imperfect shop in Luxembourg in the form of a cooperative.

• fight together with you against food waste!

• no longer accept that food is discarded just because it is too crooked, too big or too small!

• no longer accept that food is discarded just because it is past its best-before date.

• support local and regional producers

• giving farmers and food producers the opportunity to get at least some financial compensation to respect the work and effort they put into their products.  Whether a carrot is grown crooked or straight, the work and resource consumption is the same.

It is time! We don't want to just talk anymore, we want to act !

How?

• We make a second harvest at the regional vegetable farmers or we receive sorted vegetables and fruits because we support the farmers and producers by:

• labour: helping with the harvest or production with volunteers 

•  by paying a compensation for the sorted goods.

• we collect the products that are sorted out from local and regional grocery stores. 

• We sell the products at a "give what it is worth to you price" because it is important to us that the value of the food is preserved and recognised.

Where? 

In a first phase at a pop-up market and later in a small shop in the north/centre region o Luxembourg.
